Historical scientific museum of tobacco

The Tobacco Museum, built in the former Consorzio Tabacchicoltori di San Giustino, in the territory that was the former Republic of Cospaia (1441-1826) and which was the first to see the large-scale cultivation of "the good grass", represents a place for meeting, dissemination and research for those who want to get in touch with the immense heritage that the "culture" tobacco has accumulated in our territory.
It is a set of knowledge related to the cultivation and processing of the "tobacco product" that may seem extraneous to our fast and technologized mentality, to a work organization that has set an example in many other productive sectors, but also in a deepening on the human events that have characterized a season of change, of emancipation struggles and conquests of workers and workers, who today more than ever must be known and safeguarded.
The Museum is an important point of reference for the organization of activities, initiatives, debates, training courses, exhibitions, related to the entire tobacco supply chain. A center for exhibitions, documentation and a place to visit to know our history, but also a tool to connect the different realities that revolve around this complex production world
