Naturalistic Museum of Sasso Simone and Simoncello Park

The naturalistic museum is one of the access gates to the Sasso Simone and Simoncello Park, also known as CEAS, the Center for Environmental Education and Sustainability. It houses a collection of dioramas and naturalistic finds, a library rich in volumes, guides and videos on the themes of nature, botany, ecology, landscape, history, environmental education, a laboratory equipped with stereoscopes and other tools and materials useful to satisfy one's creativity . And then a study room, a conference room, a children's area. It offers activities aimed at children and adults: courses, workshops, readings, meetings, based on an idea of ​​free and experiential learning, where nature and landscape are the main tools of knowledge. It is active with a teaching proposal aimed at schools of all levels: Laboratories, Outputs, Explorations and Researches. It carries out research and communication activities related to the territory through the experimentation of landscape storytelling, intesto as memory, intergenerational dialogue, networking, hosting even artists, historians, geographers, and anyone who wants to experiment with new ways of research.
