Living Paintings

Tradition for half a century, these paintings are now one of the distinctive symbols of the village of Lamoli, and accompany every year the "Sagra della Panzanella" (takes place on the last day).
Religious manifestation of a certain importance, is always attached to a mass with a procession of the faithful, who, ordered in a column, follow the parish priest praying and admiring the paintings, real works of art, in which the actors, all place, remain impassive in their statuesque pose, recalling at every stage biblical stories and events of the life of Jesus.
Thanks to the various plays of light, the costumes that refer to the typical clothes with which we are accustomed to seeing the representations of the Lord Jesus, these paintings bring visitors to the times depicted, almost giving the idea of living such events as live, almost a time machine.
