The Two Oratories

Oratorio del Mogio, in the Balducce district, which can be visited on request. The tiny oratory, located near the high embankment of the Rabbi along the ancient mule track, was rebuilt in 1946 on a pre-existing factory. The upper church (the building is on two floors and is similar to a turret) is preceded by a trussed loggia supported by two pilasters. La Campana (dated 1505) comes from another church, and is located in the bell tower. The Festa del Mogio, May 24th, is a festival dedicated to hospitality, which sees the inhabitants taken with the stove, to offer participants a succulent refreshment based on local specialties. Oratory of San Lorenzo, in the historical center, open to the public from 9.00 to 18.00. It is perhaps the chapel of the castle mentioned in two documents of the twelfth century. In 1379 the Statutes of the Community were approved. It was restored in 1676 and 175. the interior has a nave covered by three sailings on semi-elliptical arches, windows splayed and widened downwards.
