Stairway access to Palazzo Varano

The stairway leading from the square to Palazzo Varano takes on the shape of a large arrow that symbolically points towards the Rocca delle Caminate, the private residence of the Head of Government. Going up, looking to the right, when the highest square is reached, you can see, covered by vegetation, the large cage where a golden eagle, symbol of Romanity, was kept during the Twentieth century.
