The smallest volcano in the world

Along the provincial road M. Busca - Portico di Romagna, stands the so-called "volcano" scientific term of an ardent fountain; consisting of emanations of methane gas which, in contact with the oxygen of the air, remain constantly on. These emissions were exploited, during the last conflict, with modest productions. In 1975 an oil company carried out, in the area of M. Freddo, the drilling of a deep well, without identifying the accumulation of hydrocarbons of any importance.
