San Donato Park

The area of San Donato has recently been restored with the creation of a nature park with a panoramic path and meeting space in masonry and wood. There are two concavities made according to the drawings of Leonardo Da Vinci. At the base of these can be activated the acoustic propagation of traditional sounds, similar to those emitted with horns by the sixteenth-century shepherds. The park also houses a temple dedicated to peace, as it stands on the site of a bloody battle of the Second World War, between Germans and English. Inside was an anonymous canvas, now disappeared. Today there is a small reproduction of Pablo Picasso's "Guernica".
