Parco Ranieri - Life path

A short walk from the Pinewood Ranieri, historical green space of the city, has been realized the Ranieri Park, a green lung equipped in the new area of ​​the city, which occupies a total area of ​​about 230,000 square meters (23 hectares) distributed as follows: - theater outdoor and gazebo (30,000 square meters); - Pinewood Ranieri (50,000 square meters); - Macchione and Pineta, with annexed equipped life path and fields of bowls (130.000 square meters); - public green of via Papa Giovanni XXIII (14,000 square meters); - equipped park for children in Via Morandi (6,000 square meters). The project is inspired by the idea of ​​the Italian and Classical Gardens, aiming to fit harmoniously into the surrounding natural environment. Inside the park are the open-air theater (1,200 spectators to sit), the large square with gazebo used for events, a kiosk for refreshment, a life course equipped with a maximum length of 2,100 meters and n. 18 stations for physical exercises that, starting from the Pinewood Ranieri, cross a wood called the Macchione.
