Museum of Mercy

The museum is housed in the ancient building of Badia, today the historical residence of the Confraternita di Misericordia. It is articulated in the monumental hall and in the two adjoining rooms: the showcase room and the archive room. The museum collects carriages, litters and other historical material used by the Confraternity. The rooms are of considerable historical and artistic value both for their architectural structure and for the pictorial findings in fresco on the walls. Only a few remains, unfortunately, have surfaced during recent construction work.
