"Itinerant" museum, outdoors, wants to bring the tourist to see with his own eyes the charcoal, an ancient craft handed down from generation to generation, and still today practiced with passion and dedication.
Tired and seasonal work, since it is not feasible during the winter, for snow and rainfall, is the craft that has distinguished the valley for years, demonstrating a love and attachment to the wonderful territory.
The charcoal is produced inside a "crush", which is a wooden structure that must be cooked to give life to the charcoal.

Remarks:
If the charcoal pits are active, smoke-sensitive, not toxic or harmful, but for those who are not used it can be heavy. Also do not disturb those who work is always a valid advice, because if you entertain with tourists, is likely to burn your product. Of course the charcoal is dirty, so be careful not to get dressed in white if you want to visit the active charcoal pits.
