Montetiffi

The village of Montetiffi is inserted in an area of about 1400 hectares recognized as a Site of Community Interest due to the presence of numerous places of naturalistic and historical-artistic value. It stands on the top of a high cliff where the Abbey of San Leonardo is located. The premises of the former abbey-rectory house the "Museo Agostino Venanzio Reali - Art and poetry". The village is above all the country of the tegliai that create baking pans for the cooking of the piadina using exclusively artisan methods. Going down the Via della Rupe, you reach the Romanesque Bridge, built with a round arch around the year 1000. It was an important link between Romagna, Montefeltro and Tuscany. Next to the bridge are the ruins of the ancient Molino Tornani.
