Monteleone
Set on a hill in a dominant position, the small nucleus is well preserved and still maintains the typical medieval village structure. It has been awarded the Orange Flag mark of environmental tourism quality of the Italian Touring Club with the motivation: Small village, well preserved, inhabited and harmonious. To a good tourist signposting for local producers, it joins an excellent trail network, developed and well marked. Good is also the care of the green and of the urban furniture. In his buildings and in the urban plant one can well distinguish the different parts attributable to the time of the lordships and the changes made by the successive owners. The village consists of the castle, overpassed by a small hanging garden, and some buildings dating back to different periods arranged in crescent on the front. You can access the town, today as before, through two narrow doors with a round arch, placed on the sides of the main structure. The entire village (door to door) is just over 100 meters. The building, which can not be visited, is private property.
