Mining museum

The Mining Museum, managed by the Miniere Sogliano Association, collects minerals, old publications, ancient manuscripts and equipment related to the three important mines that were active in Sogliano in the eighteenth century, in the Capannaccio, Montegelli and Montetiffi areas. The permanent exhibition is enriched by an exhibition of vintage photographs and by the presence of an ancient tufaceous cave connected directly to the museum.
