Interreligious Museum

Born from the common will of the Diocese of Forlì-Bertinoro, the Municipality of Bertinoro and the University Residential Center, the Museum was inaugurated on 10 June 2005.

Made following the project of the Senate forlì Leonardo Melandri, who to create it has brought together important scholars (theologians, architects and artists) of national and international fame of the three monotheistic faiths. The Museum was therefore created thanks to a common work and is built around some exhibition routes, inside which there are also important art objects.

Also the entrance portal, designed by the artist Mario Di Cicco, has seen the collaboration of several artists (potters, cabinet makers, sculptors ...).

The Museum is dedicated to the three great monotheistic religions (Judaism, Christianity and Islam), which have profoundly marked the history, culture and identity of the peoples of the Mediterranean and from there to the whole world.
