Via della Torre

The road in ancient times had no steps but cross-stone curbs, useful for the ascent and descent of horses and mules. The road leads to the Campano and the so-called sportone, a tunnel that ends outside the walls. About half way there is a road that leads to Palazzo Testi. Via della Torre is a glimpse of the most characteristic aspects of Anghiari and Tuscany.
