Confluence of the Metauro

A romantic, poetic and historical place, this crossing between the Meta Torrent and the Auro Torrent creates one of the most impressive rivers in the Region, as well as the first for mileage: the Metauro.
According to the legend, here the second triumvirate would take place, between Cesare Ottaviano, Marco Antonio, and Emilio Lepido, which sanctioned the (short) paci, from which the name Borgo Pace derives, precisely for this agreement.
This magical place, thanks to the confluence of the two streams, manages to evoke poetic feelings to visitors.
