Church of the servants
It dates back to the fifteenth century, built by the Servants of Mary at the hospital and the oratory of the Battuti Neri. Only at the beginning of the eighteenth century the Church took on its current slender and suggestive aspect: a series of constructions that follow one another and create a lively sequence of masses dominated by the characteristic eighteenth-century tower which also exceeds the bell tower in height. Externally you can still see the pilasters and the elegant fifteenth-century portal. At the center of the church is the most prestigious work: the altarpiece of the Annunciation made in 1533 by Marco Palmezzano da Forlì. Along the curved wall of the apse there is a beautiful choir in solid walnut wood made in the years 1726-1727.On the front door the organ purchased in the second half of the century. XVI, with doors painted in 1576 by Livio Modigliani; inside the counters represent the Madonna of the Servants and Santa Caterina and outside the scene of the Annunciation.
The Church is an integral part of Casa Artusi.
