Church of San Lorenzo

Church of San Lorenzo
The church was built in the sixteenth century to give hospitality to the Benedictine nuns, who remained at that time without a seat. From an architectural point of view, the portico located at the front is particularly valuable. The church is particularly famous because inside it preserves the magnificent Deposition from the Cross of Rosso Fiorentino, a masterpiece of Mannerist painting, built in 1528 and crowned by a splendid lunette made by Raffaellino dal Colle.
