The castle of the Baron of Beaufort
The Castle of the baron of Beaufort, of Lombard origins (7th century) still retains its original forms. It was donated to the community of Belforte all'Isauro in 1874 by the Prussian federal baron Gaspare Hermann von Teanneret, baron of Beaufort. It had a first restoration in the late 1800s and was then restored by the fine arts at the end of the 1900s. In 2011 it was adapted, without distorting its contents and with anthroposophical themes, in a period residence. The structure is located in the town of Belforte all'Isauro, on the exact border between Marche and Tuscany.
