Carlo Lotti Path

The path, dedicated to Carlo Lotti, starts from the village of Maciano, his birthplace, reaches the cylindrical tower that overlooks the town and then climbs. It is possible to take a panoramic detour to the "Piana del Cannone" and then, through the woods, descend to Lago Andreuccio. The itinerary is about 1.8 km long. and provides a vertical drop of about 200 meters. it is accessible to many and enjoys splendid views, both towards the low and the upper Marecchia valley. Along the path are placed some rocks coming from various places of the valley (Marecchia river, Sasso Simone, Miratoio, Talamello, San Leo, Mass streams, Storena and Canaiolo), on which sentences and thoughts are engraved by the skilled stonemason Zullo.
