Archaeological Civic Museum

Inside the medieval Palazzo del Podestà there is the Archaeological Civic Museum which houses archaeological and palaeontological evidence of the eastern Montefeltro. In the eight rooms of the exhibition it is possible to retrace the essential stages of the ancient history of the Montefeltro, from the prehistoric to the Roman period. A large space is dedicated to the Roman city of Pitinum Pisaurense, with the exhibition of artifacts found during excavation campaigns conducted in the Roman site.
