The road to the Tramazzo

From Tredozio continue towards the mountain, along the road that runs parallel to the river. It continues with not excessive slopes. The asphalt ends at kilometer 5.3 the dirt road starts and enters the territory of the Park of the Casentinesi Forests. We begin to continue in the middle of thickets of mixed woods, the course of the stream is always lower than the road level. At 7 km detour that leads to the mountain hut Cala di Ponte. We continue, now the road begins to climb decidedly passing through a thick fir-tree that leaves however soon the place to a beech forest. Continue for about 3 km and we are at Ripa di Saverio (mt.940) 10 km from Tredozio, a highly scenic spot. Now the last stretch of 1.8 kilometers remains and we reach Passo Valico Tramazzo (971 mt.)
