Collegiate Church

Construction began in 1774 and ended twelve years later. In 1779 to make the religious functions more suggestive, the Venetian Gaetano Callido, the most prestigious "organ" of the period, is still working today. The Collegiate houses the work of Guido Cagnacci, "San Giuseppe, S. Eligio and Gesù Bambino", which was requested to the painter from Santarcangiolese by the Confraternity of carpenters and blacksmiths and in fact depicts the patron saints of the two professions. Inside there is also the crucifix of the Giotto's Giotto school from the 14th century coming from the ancient Pieve. At the back of the church, on the left side, a chapel set up in 1821 houses the relics of Blessed Simone Balacchi.
