Palazzo Ducci del Rosso

At n. 131 of Via XX Settembre, the Sansepolcro course, meets the 16th century Palazzo Ducci Del Rosso, an excellent example of late Renaissance architecture that is based on the typical Florentine palaces of the era of Cosimo de 'Medici. After a few years restoration, the building has been returned to the citizens and today it is the seat of the Archives and of the Civic Library dedicated to Dionisio Roberti (1300 -1342), religious, theologian and writer. Among the precious volumes of the books there is also the "Summa" by Luca Pacioli, the mathematician of the coeval renaissance of Piero della Francesca, also a native of the town of Sansepolcro.
