Bell tower of the cathedral

The bell tower, with a square base, dominates the city of Sansepolcro and the valley. It measures about 40 meters and accommodates 5 bells so named: Campanone, Ventitré, Mortina played for the funeral, Ave Maria and Cennino. The bell tower can be visited and is also the headquarters of the Association of the Bells of Sansepolcro, which takes care of its care and ring the bells, both daily and for special occasions. The Association also organizes an annual calendar of guided tours, where you can climb up to the tip and from where you can see a fascinating 360 ° panorama of the city!
