Medieval Fortress

The Fortress is composed of the Girone, the Rocca and the Medicean Arsenals. You can visit the 17th-century Corte con Ulivo, the troglodyte caves, the Torre delle Segrete and dei Tormenti, the thirteenth-century Church of Santa Barbara, the Palazzo del Castellano, where they are set up:
Historical and archaeological museum of the Castle and the City (MuSA), where weapons, majolica, furnishings, ornaments and ancient paintings are preserved;
L'eagle le Chiavi il Giglio, permanent exhibition of documents and archaeological finds that document and narrate the thousand-year history of the Fortress of Castrocaro;
Enoteca della Strada dei Vini of the Province of Forlì-Cesena, for the promotion and enhancement of local food and wine products.
