Former food market

The square, characterized by a colonnade that accompanies the semicircular structure, was designed to frame the home of Benito Mussolini scenographically; from the central arch, in fact, there was a monumental staircase that led to the Duce's house, a stairway that Mussolini himself had demolished as a dissonant with the myth of its rural origins.
