Birthplace Mussolini

Modest building, made with large stones and "spungone" stone. Here Mussolini was born on July 29, 1883, in a room on the first floor; on the ground floor his father Alessandro worked as a blacksmith. Currently the building, renovated and reopened to the public, is used in the summer as an exhibition venue for exhibitions of historical and artistic interest.
