Riceci

Small agricultural center located on the hill above the Gallo, probably derives from "rivus", small watercourse its denomination "Riceci", to which the term "Villa" was added in 1906. The existence of Villa Riceci as a settlement of scattered houses is attested already at the beginning of the fifteenth century. Riceci is located in a beautiful panoramic position, with a maximum altitude of 270 meters, naturalist places form a large landscape area. Particularly suitable for the practice of outdoor sports such as mountain biking and of course hiking, you will discover pleasant natural beauties on the routes that connect the places of Cesane, Coldelce and Monte di Colbordolo. In the hill of Riceci is the former church of San Giovanni Battista di Riceci, what remains dates back to 1779.
