Renaissance Festival "Un de 'int la róca ad frampul"

The festival commemorates the jubilation events organized in 1567 by the Countess Battistina Savelli and the nobility of Forlimpopolese to celebrate the victorious return from France of the lord of the city, Brunoro II Zampeschi. Figures in Renaissance costumes animate the party with shows of various kinds: flag-wavers, drummers, jesters, fire-eaters, duels of armies, archery tournaments, in addition to the market set up inside the Fortress which re-proposes craftsmanship, crafts and the games of the Renaissance. The traveler can refresh him or herself at the Hostaria del Pellegrino with wheat and chickpea soups, piadine and bruschetta. The first two evenings will be dedicated to rich banquets with vintage delicacies, while the party ends on Sunday evening with "Magic of rhythms and flags": a spectacular fusion between the rhythm of the drums, the fluttering of the flags, the fire of the torches and pyrotechnic effects.
