Panzanella Festival

Feast associated with the Assumption of Our Lady in the skies, it takes place during the period of August, for three days, bringing on the tables a dish of poor tradition, the Panzanella, typical preparation of central Italy.
This festival is one of the meeting points of the Lamolese who, having left their native home, return to Lamoli to rediscover their roots.
The characteristic moment of the Sagra, its winning stroke, is certainly found in the religious and folklore manifestation that takes place on the last day of celebration, that is, the Mass in honor of the Blessed Virgin and, soon after, the procession with the traditional living pictures, a tradition now rooted in this party for some time, where the characters of the paintings, tirelessly pose, reproducing scenes of the life, death and resurrection of Jesus, as well as the assumption of Our Lady in Heaven.
The party is really recommended to everyone, thanks to both religious events, and to the most goliardic moments with jokes, and to dances with national caliber orchestras.
