Botanical Garden
Inside the Botanical Garden of Urbino, originally a large garden communicating with the convent of St. Francis, now attached to the Faculty of Science, Chemistry, Physics and Natural Sciences of the University there are about 2300 types of pant.
During the Napoleonic occupation, the garden was transformed by the Commune into the Botanical Garden for the benefit of the Free University. Subsequently, following the complex vicissitudes, the Franciscans gave it to the same Commune, which commissioned the architect Vincenzo Ghinelli to provide the design of the entrance hall. This clearly refers to the architectural party of the Theater with its central body in a light mood that emphasizes the four sturdy Doric half columns: in the central interconnection the arch of the gate closed by a gate is inserted; From the vestibule, a glass-colored door connects with the garden, which rises down a large brick staircase.
