Porta Cervese
The Porta takes its name from the ancient Roman road that connected Santarcangelo to the salt pans of Cervia. Porta Cervese is one of the four entrances, the only one still intact, to the medieval village belonging to the second city wall, initiated by Carlo Malatesta at the end of the 14th century. and fortified by the nephew Sigismondo Pandolfo in 1447.
