Palazzo del Marzocco
Primary tabs
Palazzo del Marzocco
The coat of arms above one of the gates indicates that the palace was the home of the Angelieri family, while the current name is linked to the sculpture depicting the Florentine Marzocco, placed in the facade of 1526. In 1944 it fell due to bombing. The one currently visible is a copy of the second half of the 20th century.
