Palio of S. Reparata

Famous competition for shooting with the antique crossbow, once again the Borgo Romano and the Borgo Fiorentino challenge each other to conquer the Palio di Santa Reparata. Saturday evening the great propitiatory dinner of the villages returns, with lights and music performances. Sunday historical parade with over 300 participants recalling the life of the Medici citadel in the late 16th century. Spectacular display of flag games, duels in arms, drums that will mark the highlights of the event. It takes place on the first Sunday of September.
