Naturalistic-Ornithological Museum of Candeleto

An interesting Science Museum with educational workshops and conference hall; hosts the "Silvio Bambini" collection of the Umbra fauna, a unique collection, with about 300 specimens of birds and mammals representing the wildlife heritage of the Umbria-Marche Apennines.
The museum tour, led by the staff of the local Carabinieri Forest Station, and by auxiliary teaching staff, is divided into a series of exhibition spaces set up with illuminated display cases, photographic backgrounds, plastic models and interactive dioramas. Outside the museum, the Sentiero Natura di Candeleto, equipped with educational displays illustrating habitats, flora and fauna.
