Montebello Monastery and museum "On the trail of our fathers"

Built in 1380 by the Pisan Blessed Pietro Gambacorta, founder of the Order of the Girolamini Fathers. The structure, square with central cloister, houses a church and the Museum of Ancient Civilization, which boasts of being one of the very first in Italy. The Museum is set up in the cellars of the Monastery and visiting it allows you to get to know the rural history of the area, in the place where, in the early 70s, the organic agriculture that today characterizes the territory developed.
