Path of the Carbonaio
Small path of 4 km, of medium difficulty, with a steep slope. It winds between Castrum Bavia (12th century), the ancient castle of Borgo Pace, of which there is almost nothing, except for the stones used in the nearby farms of Pian dell'Aoila or in the Church of 1706, up to Monte Felcino , and then to climb to the Tower of Sant'Andrea, descending to the small fraction of Sant'Andrea, where you can admire, during the season, some charcoal still active.
For almost half the route just follow the path 85 of the CAI, which from Borgo Pace leads to Monte Felcino, and pass it, turn, where signaled, to reach Sant'Andrea; to close the circle we recommend walking on the road, which runs along the Torrente Auro, which allows you to see some grazing animals near the Obbra, until you return to Borgo Pace.
